A man and a male youth are currently in police custody and charges are anticipated after an emergency services call Wednesday morning.
Investigators identified suspects and determined they were in a residence. As a result of the risk of potential firearms, the request was made by Regina Police Services officers to be joined by Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), crisis negotiators and canine units. Teams arrived at the residence at about noon. The tactical armoured vehicle was used in this call.
At approximately 12:30 p.m., two men exited the house and were safely taken into police custody without further incident.
Three dogs from inside the house were safely removed and handed over to the care of Animal Protection Services.
Police are conducting a search of the house at this time.
Police do not know at this point what charges will result.
Investigation into this matter is ongoing.
